Hanging by math

I really can not blame this student for his effort... it was still a very good attempt ... the student should think about going into comics drawing as a career, don't you think ... that may be the student's calling.

Would you please expand your mind .... ?

Please do not try this on your math exams. At least not when I am still your math teacher. I have to admit that this is indeed very funny and extremely insightful. We sometimes do get too caught up with academic stuff that we lose sight of the plaing simple instructions. I admire the courage and wisdom of the student who wrote it. By the way, for the mathematically incline, extra credits to those who can do the research and find the correct expansion to this problem.
